Urban Waste Management Game
Joe, a Green Squad superhero, is assigned to help Mrs. Globe, the physical embodiment of planet Earth. She is deeply distressed by the rising toxic waste that has been gathering for generations. Joe invites players to join the Green Squads and guides them through the game with missions and bonus games. This highly engaging, interactive 2.5D learning game helps players understand, learn and implement the concepts of waste management; contribute to a cleaner, greener environment through the 3R approach (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle); and practise behavioural transformation by making, and encouraging friends and family to make, small changes in lifestyle habits. Immersive design and a high level of interactivity sustain engagement and support the learning framework.
Try a round inspired by its waste separation stage (an illustration, not the real game): sort ten items, get eight right to win.
